Key responsibilities

In this role, you will ensure that the Investment Reporting function attains the required service standards in relation to all internal and external stakeholders.  To ensure that the Investment Reporting team produces accurate and timely information for the purposes of IFRS reporting, and to maintain & produce supporting documentation suitable for audit and regulatory compliance.

The business are looking for an experienced investment accounting subject matter expert to support the team as the business moves through a period of change. The role will be expected to pick up business as usual activities but also to support ongoing change programs in flight in relation to on boarding acquired business, bringing their experience to the table in the best interests of the business.

Key skills/experience required

  • Highly structured, disciplined, task and goal focused
  • Advanced excel skills, including pivot tables and v-lookups
  • Desirable: 10 years’ experience in a finance environment (or relevant qualification), preferably 5+ years within investments
  • Qualified accountant or qualified by experience
  • Detailed knowledge of investments and associated accounting treatment
  • Good knowledge of accounting standards – IFRS
  • Solvency II knowledge is preferable
