An exciting new opportunity to join the ReAssure Legal & Company Secretarial team. Following a successful acquisition, we are looking for an enthusiastic junior lawyer with a willingness to learn and get stuck into supporting the integration of the business within the ReAssure Group as well as assisting with all board matters of the two newly acquired companies.

The position will be based in London on a fixed-term contract basis. This vacancy represents an opportunity to join an ever-changing environment and work closely with the wider ReAssure Legal & Company Secretarial Team where you will discover the potential to perform and grow.

In this role as Legal Counsel and Company Secretarial support, you will be responsible for providing commercially-focused legal advice, supporting transaction and integration activities as well as providing company secretarial support.


Key responsibilities

  • Advising on commercial contracts; licences, IT services and other supplier agreements
  • Supporting the Part VII transfer and integration of the business (working together with other Team members)
  • Arranging Board and Committee meetings for the two acquired entities and drafting minutes
  • Collating and distributing Board and Committee materials
  • Maintaining statutory records and making regulatory filings

Key skills/experience required

  • Qualified and admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales
  • Corporate experience and/or a Chartered Secretary advantageous
  • Experience in commercial contract work
  • Willingness to “roll your sleeves up” and get involved in a multitude of different projects
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Inspire trust and confidence with stakeholders
