Manual Calculations Representative

ReAssure, part of Phoenix Group are recruiting a Manual Calculations Representative to join our team within the CS Support function. The position will preferably be based in Hitchin on a permanent contract basis. You will be responsible to understand and work to the team and department prioritisation rules to meet service standards.

Work to be performed in adherence with Reassure’s governance, risk and TCF framework. 

Key responsibilities will include: 

• Carry out routine processes in line with documented procedures.
• Obtain appropriate approvals where required within the process (in line with risk framework).
• Escalate risks and issues to line management in a timely manner.
• Work collaboratively within own team to meet team targets and priorities
• Actively participate in team meetings.
• Actively seek feedback to aid personal development and reduce failure demand.
• Actively support knowledge management
• Responsible to call out issues to line management
• Carry out manual calculations in accordance with the current governance framework and in line with expected accuracy and productivity measures

 Key skills/experience required: 

• Good skills in MS Word, Outlook and Excel.
• Confident communicator (be able to actively participate in calls, meetings and huddles)
• Able to process routine tasks with high level of quality
• Self-motivation, self-awareness and positivity
• Minimum 5 GCSE’s (Grades A-C) including Maths and English or equivalent
• Preferred: A Level in Maths or above
• Ideally basic knowledge of life and pensions products.
• Ideally have 6 months experience of life and pensions industry.
