ReAssure are looking to recruit a dedicated Migration Management Test Lead to join our team within the Alpha+ Migration Management function. The position will preferably be based in Telford on a permanent basis. In this role as Migration Management Test Lead, you will be responsible for will have responsibility for supporting the Senior Migration Manager in the development and delivery of Migrations, Leading the testing of these and future strategies to deliver best in market and innovative test strategy and solutions for the next migration or internal change project.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide guidance to the other workstream migration specialists to deliver data migration services across multiple source system to ALPHA migrations, ensuring consistent Test approach across streams, compliance with ITGCs, and appropriate use of migration methodologies Design and implement the appropriate migration controls to provide assurance on the integrity of the data migration and ALPHA data.
  • Provide Testing consultancy and technical expertise to Support the Migration team in working within ReAssure’s data migration methodology.
  • Act as the test conduit between the IT Migration department and the business working with Alpha + development, Products & Calcs, testing and other collaborators.
  • Transpose all input requirements into Migration test requirements in a timely fashion.
  • Work with personnel in the source organisation to support the testing of the migrated data. This will involve facilitating workshops and meetings.
  • Confidence and credibility to call out issues and positively influence resolution.

Key skills/experience required

  • +5 years Test Experience including Test Analysis, Design, and Execution, Test Lead/Management.
  • Extensive hands-on experience of data analysis & migration techniques (ETL) and concepts.
  • Experience in analysis, design, builds or manipulation of ALPHA data through ReAssure approved tools and methodologies.
  • Experience of strategies for handling imperfect data.
  • Experienced in working within a risk control framework and contributing to successful risk outcomes.
  • Experience in continuous improvement in delivered implementations.
  • Proven experience of developing test strategies for handling imperfect data.
  • Experience of working in a regulated environment.
  • IT Experience within Life and Pensions industry with the ALPHA system.
  • Experience of development methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile.
  • Experienced in solution estimating.
