Job summary

ReAssure is responsible for administering a variety of Life and Pensions products.Within the Telford based Regulatory Change Team we are looking to recruit an Analyst to assist with the regulatory change of policy, processes and procedures, providing guidance and support to ReAssure and its business partners to ensure compliance with applicable legislation and regulatory requirements. You will join a team of 13 and report to a Regulatory Change Team Leader. This is a permanent position.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in the analysis and evaluation of legislation, regulations, codes and other papers from external bodies. Assist in the identification of the impact and business requirements for ReAssure, and evaluation of the alternatives where options are available.


  • Participate in projects involving regulatory change (both large and small), including any product development and projects arising from strategic activities.


  • Assist in preparation and sign off of project documentation including business requirements, letter drafts, training material, internal briefings, procedure documents and other documentation to enable ReAssure to comply with relevant legislation and regulations at all times.
  • Provide support to the business by responding to complex technical queries raised ensuring that responses provided are comprehensive, accurate and written in plain English.


  • Provide sign off for BAU Letter, Procedure and Training material reviews.


  • Assist with the addition and update of technical material to Regulation Central to ensure it remains accurate and in line with current regulations.


  • Formulate recommendations to remedy errors, breaches or process failures which provide a compliant, fair and technically acceptable solution. Ensure the prompt and consistent application of solutions to minimise customer detriment and reputational and regulatory risk.

  • Ability to review documents for consistency, accuracy, clarity and use of plain English.
  • Ability to analyse documents, explain complex concepts using plain English and in a well-structured manner.
  • Proven life assurance and pension administration experience with a good degree of analytical focus.
  • Working knowledge of ReAssure ALPHA system and associated business processes.
  • Good knowledge of Word and Excel.
  • 5 GCSEs (Grade C or above including Maths and English) or equivalent.
  • Holding or working towards a relevant qualification e.g. CFP, Diploma in Financial Planning, or professional qualification.
