Job summary

ReAssure are looking to recruit a Remediation Analyst to join our team within the Customer Services function. The position will preferably be based in Hitchin on a permanent basis. In this role as Remediation Design Team Analyst, you will be responsible completing high quality analysis of remediation calculations and delivering solutions to the business and our customers, in line with the objectives of the team.

You will be expected to display role model behaviours and embed the ReAssure values. You will be expected to actively contribute to the operational effectiveness of the ReAssure Customer Services Team.

Key responsibilities

  • Carry out routine processes in line with documented procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to understand business and customer needs.
  • Perform high quality analysis and produce accurate output in line with requirements.
  • Obtain appropriate management approvals to the required solution (in line with risk framework).
  • Deliver an easily understood solution to the end customer; taking into account their level of technical awareness.
  • Hold communication with customers and stakeholders at all stages of the process.
  • Deliver all services to business and customers in a timely manner to meet expectations.
  • Propose process improvements to reduce cost and failure demand, whilst improving controls and increasing service.
  • Escalate risks and issues to line management in a timely manner and assist with implementation of solution where appropriate.
  • Make decisions that ensure the integrity of financial data is maintained.
  • Ensure that all decisions are appropriately documented in an audit trail.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and workshops attended.
  • Identify the Root Cause of the remediation item and summaries in plain English.
  • Complete remediation summary documents, ensuring that they are in plain English.
  • To support the team with buddying and coaching other team members.
  • Take ownership of remediation items allocated to them, and ensure actions passed to others are followed through.
  • To liaise and provide updates to customers and stakeholders.
  • Evidence analytical and logical thinking by proposing commercial business solutions to problems.

  • Advanced skills in MS Word, Outlook and Excel.
  • Ability to think analytically and should be a problem solver.
  • Ability to gather and interpret relevant data and information.
  • Ability to explain complex concepts in well-structured, plain English explanations.
  • Detailed knowledge of Financial Services environment and legislation.
  • Able to multi-task and switch priorities to suit changing business needs.
